The official opening of LINET Australia
The opening of LINET Australia at the World Congress of Intensive Care in Melbourne, was marked by the presence of the Czech Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Tomas Dub. The Czech Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Martin Tlapa, was also present and spoke about the benefits of commercial collaboration between Australia and the Czech Republic.
Managing Director of LINET Australia, Steve Oldershaw, described the growth of the LINET Group worldwide to an invited group of colleagues and clinicians and the role LINET Australia now plays in supporting its partners and customers down under. The event was supported by the Global Sales Director Export of LINET Group SE, Petr Foit, who spoke about the importance of improving outcomes for patients. Of great interest to the attending clinicians, Dr. Mikulas Mlcek and Dr. Michal Otahal from the Charles University in Prague, who presented their research on the improvement of mechanical ventilation by using lateral tilt while using Multicare intensive care bed.
