LINET at Pharmedi 2016 trade fair in Vietnam
From September 21-24, the Pharmedi international trade fair was held in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, and LINET was on hand to showcase its products. The event was prefaced by a private presentation organized by LINET in collaboration with the CzechTrade agency as well as the local KOMTEK agency.
The private presetation was attended by representatives of the government, hospitals, investment groups, and distribution companies only. At the subsequent trade fair, LINET, situated in the Czech pavilion, exhibited the Multicare and Eleganza 2 beds. There was also a video loop to give visitors insight into the entire LINET product portfolio.
“Our primary goal was to become more familiar with the Vietnamese market and its specificities. We also wanted to establish contacts with local distributors and end customers, and we succeeded in doing just that,” says LINET regional manager for Northeast Asia Ivan Martiš. LINET was praised both by local hospital representatives and distributors, namely from the southern part of the country. The visit to Vietnam resulted in contacts for a wide variety of interesting projects.
“The event was very well prepared, and the trade fair was truly very professional. Currently, the Vietnamese market resembles that of China about five or seven years ago. While it may not yet have enough capital to invest in quality imported products, it is experiencing a growth curve and is constantly developing. It will definitely offer numerous sales opportunities in the future,” says in closing Martiš.
